Initial Planting 2022

I purchased Park Early Girl and Brandywine tomato seeds. Both sprang out of the seed starting mix in less than 7 days and almost all of them germinated. Currently, they are 12 days old at 2" and starting to get their real leaves. If they keep going like this I will have a red Early Girl tomato by 7/4 and a Brandywine before August. Very pleased so far. Last years Park Brandywines were huge and delicious. I know Early Girls will be more average but 7/4 is my only the goal.

Great early variety tomato

Great flavor and good producer. Fairly resistant to diseases. I planted this variety for my Fall garden and now have them in my Spring garden. The spring garden will be producing in about 1 month. Parks are the best vendor and stand behind their product.

Most dependable tomato

I (and my father before me) have grown tomatoes in this area for many years; Early Girl has been the clear winner among any number of varieties we've grown here. There's a long growing season here- in mid February my new seedlings are already living outdoors, and I was harvesting until Christmas. These tomatoes perform admirably all season long, and make it through some very hot summer weather as well as any. Like any tomato, the flavor has more to do with culture and harvesting practices than genetics, and these are generally excellent.

I started Early Girl from seed this winter. It ripened at the same time as Whopper. The flavor is 3.5 on a 5-point scale. It is prolific, puts out a lot of tomatoes.

Best Of The Medium Sizes Tomatoes

I have grown Early Girl tomatoes many times and the consistently-good results are always there. This year one of my Early Girl plants had 82 tomatoes on it with new, smaller ones still developing. OMG!! was my first reaction to this bountiful variety after making the tally. Great variety for those who are looking for production as well as quality.

Early Girl Blossem end rot

I love this seed. To overcome blossem end rot you must assure there is calcium added to the soil thru the fertilizer... problem solved! Produces in abundance. I had 30 plants produce 600+ pound of beautiful fruit!

Early Girl Tomato

Very good taste overall, but was susceptible to blossom end rot. It was worth the extra work though, and is something that I will grow again next year.
