Hi Colleen, good question! You can eat chia seeds straight away without soaking them first, but as you might have suspected they are more digestible and the nutrients are a bit more “accessible” for your body, if you let them soak for some time 🙂

Hi Derec, good question – and I actually don’t remember to be honest. It may have been something to do with oat milks often being contaminated by gluten (https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/is-oat-milk-gluten-free#gluten-status) so perhaps that was it. As you’ve noticed, milks in general are certainly gluten-free!
