Peony Flower Plants
Exceptionally long-lived, Peonies are one of the most well-known and well-loved of all perennials. Unappetizing to deer, rabbits, and insects, they burst forth with brilliant color for 3 months: reddish spring foliage, large late-spring and early-summer blooms, and bronze or purple fall tones.

Peonies are legendary cut-flowers, capable of lasting for weeks in the vase. Many are fragrant, and all are beautiful!
Grow Peonies in any well-drained soil receiving full sunshine. In hot climates, choose single-flowered and early-blooming varieties for best results. Mass Peonies in groups of 3 or more in the foundation, along the driveway, and in prominent borders and beds. Lovely three seasons of the year and as long-lived as shrubs, they are a permanent legacy of garden beauty! Herbaceous peonies can take 1 to 2 years to bloom. All of our peonies have at least 3 eye divisions.
