Environmentally friendly, Smart Pots are BPA-free, lead-free, and chemically inert—you can rest assured that no dangerous chemicals will be leaching into the soil. Smart Pots are washable, reusable, and durable, having a 3- to 5-year life expectancy. When you’re ready to wash your Smart Pots, just turn them inside out, dry completely, and remove any hardened soil. Soak pots in a solution of vinegar and water for 24 hours, agitate occasionally, and rinse thoroughly. Or you can simply throw them in the washing machine. But Smart Pots should always be dried in the sun, never the dryer.
